| Products covered under CCC are subject to both Safety and EMC testing. Tests are basically conducted according to the Chinese National GB standards. The GB standards are largely based on IEC/ISO standards with Chinese national differences. When there are no equivalent IEC standards, the product must comply with the GB standards or other applicable standards. |

| Rules for Data Acceptance |
As a member of the CB Scheme, China's NCB China Quality Certification Center (CQC) accepts CB Test Report and Certificate issued by another NCB for the CB categories China participates in. Currently, China participates in all CB categories except for BATT, MEAS and MED.
Safety and EMC testing have to be performed at the designated CNCA accredited labs (limited domestic labs). CB report with China national deviation is accepted for safety report but one sample is still needed for construction check. Authorization to use the CCC mark is granted by a Designated Certification Body (DCB). |

| Rated voltage in China is AC 220V/50Hz(single phase) and AC 380V/50Hz(three phase). Plugs have to comply with GB1002-1996. There are 3 types of plugs in China: 6A/10A 2-pole without earthing contacts, 6A/10A 2-pole with earthing contacts and 16A 2-pole with earthing contacts. |

CNCA's Implementation Rules cite numerous "GB Standards," which are mandatory standards. CNCA has published 47 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Motor Vehicles.doc." The booklets outline detailed technical application requirements for each of the 132 product categories.
